Does the Library accept book donations?

The Ronald Williams Library is pleased to accept gifts of books from individuals provided there are no restrictions on their disposition, use, or location. Gifts will be acknowledged in writing by the University Foundation. The Library cannot appraise gifts for income tax purposes.

Gift books may be brought to the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the library. Donors should fill out the donation form at the desk in order to be acknowledged for their donation. All book donations are reviewed by the appropriate subject librarian. Based on a variety of criteria, the subject librarian will review each book individually and decide whether the book should be added to the collection or placed in the Library’s annual book sale.
