How can I access library resources when I am off-campus?

When you are off campus, you will need to login to our subscription databases (e.g. JSTOR, EBSCO, etc.) using the Library's proxy server so that you are recognized as an NEIU user. This means that the links must include our proxy prefix:

https://neiulibrary.idm.oclc.org/login?url=

This will lead you to the proxy login page, where you can log in with your NEIU NetID and password.

The easiest way to do this is to always start at the Library's home page or our Databases & Online Collections list. We have included the necessary proxy prefix in all of our links from these pages.

Please note, some off-campus networks have restrictions that may prevent users from accessing NEIU Library resources. In these instances, troubleshooting must be done by that location's network administrator.
